ABOUT US
Challenge the Shield Parry Sound was developed and co-founded by Wil Smith and Mike Waddington. Mike and Wil were long-time members of Canada's National Orienteering Team and both are former North American Orienteering Champions. Wil designed and built many of the MTB trails at the Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre and also organized several Xterra multisport races in the Parry Sound Region. Mike co-founded the DontGetLost Adventure Running Series and Adventure Running Kids and was course designer of over a dozen Raid the Hammer Adventure Run races. 

All Challenge the Shield profits are used for Georgian Nordic trail development, map development and youth programs through Georgian Nordic Outdoor Adventure Centre (GNOAC) and Get Outdoors Parry Sound.
